Busy Summer!

I've been busy with all manner of things the last few weeks and haven't had much time to post. I should be posting more regularly once summer is over. I've been spending a lot time preparing for my daughter's party next weekend. She's decided on a Barbie theme and I'm really excited about it. I'm incorporating the Barbie package listed on this site and a few extras. Stay tuned for the update!

Back to school parties

It's time to start thinking about back to school parties. Try a play on words for an original theme. A school of fish could give you an underwater theme to your party. Go for the traditional with apples, school supplies, and more expected decor and activities. Another idea is an unexpected plaid theme reminiscent of school uniforms. Places to hold a construction themed party

I've found that some Home Depot stores will allow you to hold a party at their stores. Most incorporate it into their weekly children's workshops, but some will hold it in another area or at another time. The best thing is that there is no charge as the workshop re free. Some will allow you to bring cake. Others will not allow food. No lit candles are allowed. Call your local stores to arrange the party.
