Bicycle Parade Party

I am posting a bit early this week. Spring is in the air in southeastern Virginia and it has me thinking of getting outdoors for events. This week has me taking a look at a bike themed party. What kid doesn't like riding their bike.  A bike themed event could be at you home,  park or nature reserve with a bike path. You will be asking guests to bring their bikes with them so it would be great if you could have the party at your home if it is a neighborhood party.   Introduce old fashioned bike decorations such as clipping playing cards to spokes, homemade streamers, and license plates using plastic dinner plates. Bike races, rides, or an obstacle course can round off the activities.  You may want to contact local police or fire department to visit for a short presentation of bike safety or possibly to lead the bike parade. They often are willing to offer related give aways that you may want to use as party favors.
The final activity would be the parade of decorated bikes.
This is a very unique, easy, and inexpensive party.  It does, however,  require a fair amount of pre-planning and preparation.  A lot of adult supervision is also required for the obvious safety reasons.  Please call Party EZ for assistance.

Rates for services are listed on the blog.

Japanese Themed Party

I haven't been so excited about a party theme in a long time! I came across some articles about making candy sushi which has inspired me to create a very unique party theme!

Party EZ presents a Japanese themed event in which 8-10 children can take an imaginery trip to Japan.  While in dressed in kimonos the guests will create a few Japanese / Asian themed items such as fans, flower arrangements, zen gardens, or bonsai trees, play a traditional Japanese game, and conclude the party with an amazing candy sushi creation. Disposable tableware, decorations for the craft table, and immediate party area are included in the package.
The guests take their creations home with them as party favors.

The crafts choice is at the discrection of Party EZ and is dictated by the age of the guests. Each Package includes 2 crafts + the sushi making event.

This party is recommended for ages 8-13.

The cost of this 2hr party (+ 30-45 minutes of set up and 15 minutes of dismantling ) is $200 for up to 10 children. There is no reduction for fewer guests.
Tables and Chairs and additional food items are not included.
